The greatness of the Holy Qur'an
Al-Quran brings peace and mercy to anyone who read it, based on the words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam: "It is nota people gathered in a majlis except down on their peace andcovered by grace and surrounded by angels and Allah willmention them before his angels ".
The Qur'an only for people living not the dead by God's word: "So he (Muhammad) gives a warning to people who live (heart)". Andthe word of God: "And that man no gain other than what has beenearned". Imam Shafi'i issued an opinion from this verse that the Quran reward will not be up to the people who died.
Because the reading is not the deeds of the deceased. As forreading a child to both parents, then the reward can be up to him, because a child is the result of parents, as mentioned in thehadeeth of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. Al-Quran as the antidote (medicine) of liver disease shirk, nifak and others.
In the Koran there are some verses and letters (which works) totreat the body as Surat al-Fatiha, an-Naas and al-Falaq and others mentioned in the Sunnah Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam.
